The Bellagio Festival and Lake Como returns in the summer Lariana for the seventh edition.
The events this year are increasingly numerous starting from 29 June and continuing until 22 October. From Como to Lecco, the music returns to resonate with the ancient houses that make Lake Como unique.
The historic halls of the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni hosts the inaugural evening on June 29 at 9 pm. There are numerous occasions to listen to the original productions of the Bellagio Festival Orchestra and the performances of the famous orchestra of the Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan.
On 8 July and on 5 August, there will be beneficial concerts in the Rockefeller Foundation.
The Bellagio and Lake Como Festival has twice won the Representative Medal of the Presidency of the Italian Republic and the Presidency Prize of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
The composer Alessandro Solbiati, winner of various national and international competitions, has collaborated with numerous Italian, European and American theaters and festivals. Professor of Fugue and Composition at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, he has jobs in the conservatories of Blogona, Avignon, Metz, Paris, Lyon and Mexico City. The performances will be on July 20th, August 10th and August 25th at the former Bellagio library by the New Made Ensemble instrumentalists, on August 13th at the Magreglio Cycling Museum by the Etetera Saxonphone Quartet and on September 22nd at the former library of Bellagio.
The I Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra performed for the first time in 1945, receiving an immediate success with a vast repertoire of Baroque masterpieces, Classicism, Romanticism and modern and contemporary music. The orchestra will perform July 7 in Varenna, July 9 in Zelbio, July 13 and September 14 in Bellagio, August 18 in Lecco, July 30 in Lezzeno, August 3 in Tremezzina city.
