Lake Como Events: Morbegno in Cantina
Morbegno is a very nice town located half an hour from Vercana, it is a nice place to visit all year round but in particular during the Morbegno in Cantina event.
The event Morbegno in Cantina involves about 50 cellars among the most ancient ones in Morbegno and its surroundings. "Morbegno in cantina" is an event of testing of fine wines DOC, DOCG and Valtellina Strive accompanied by delicious local products, such as the cheese, delicatessen products, rye bread and the traditional bisciola (a rustic cake for special occasions with nuts, figs and raisins); all in an evocative and unforgettable atmosphere, within the walls of the oldest wineries of the historic town of Morbegno.
In the city of Bitto will meet the typical stalls where you can buy the pass (to be retained and be stamped at the entrance to each cellar) and the map with all the locations. Visitors will receive the official cup together with the pocket-cup of the color of the path you have chosen. The event usually takes place in October.
